Terms of use
Short version: play the games, do not attack them, and understand they are provided as they are.

Agreement
By using brainbendergames.com or any game published under Brainbender Games, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Brainbender Games is operated by Ben Brady, a sole trader in New Zealand.
The games
The games are free to play and require no purchase. There is no subscription and no paid content. Availability is not guaranteed: puzzles may change, games may be paused, and any game may be discontinued.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the games or servers.
- Use automated systems to play, scrape puzzle content, or extract answers, other than well-behaved search engine crawlers.
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with advertising, consent controls or rate limits.
- Submit content to any shared or multiplayer feature that is unlawful or abusive.
- Resell, relicense or commercially redistribute the games or their puzzle content.
Accounts
Where a game offers an account, you are responsible for activity under it. Accounts that exist to abuse a leaderboard or another player may be removed without notice.
Content and intellectual property
The names Brainbender Games, Redactle, Redactle Rush, Redactle Junior, Lextension and Sleuth the Truth, together with the logos, game designs, code and original text, belong to Ben Brady.

Brainbender Games is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation. Advertising
The games are funded by third-party advertising. We do not control advertiser content and do not endorse it. Interactions with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

Disclaimer
The games are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. Your saved progress lives in your browser and can be lost. Back-ups are not provided.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainbender Games is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the games, including lost progress or lost streaks.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law. If you use the games as a consumer in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may give you rights these terms do not affect. Because the games are supplied free of charge, statutory rights that depend on a supply for payment may not apply.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Changes take effect from the date above, and continuing to play means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
